On 23-25th of ​​November 2012, the 8th meeting of Fans of Beskid Niski was held in Zdynia near Gorlice. Such meetings are held every year for 8 years under the auspices of the owners of the beskid-niski.pl website.

The event was a great opportunity to extend the knowledge about Beskid Niski and meet interesting people. In addition to movies related to the subject of Beskid Mountains, the organizers assured interesting lectures. Kamil Kmak talked about the history of the Jews from Grybów, and Jan Dziubyna presented his idea for the promotion of Lemkos culture. Participants also learned about the activity of the "Krzywa Village Association" particulary connected with the action "Snow Routes Through Forests".

Thanks to the passion of next presenter - Alexander Gucwa we all could better understand the history of World War II, in particular, the plane crash of Halifax aircraft in Banica close to Krzywa. The plane was carrying aid to the Warsaw Rising. In the crash were killed seven heroic Polish pilots.

The meeting was also an opportunity to get acquainted with Magurycz Association under the aegis of Szymon Modrzejewski, which deals with the rehabilitation of cemeteries and shrines in the Beskid. A large portion of interesting materials provided by Jacek Smulski presenting the figure of Jan Łożański, courier AK, as well as informing about the opening of the tourist trail "Jaga Kora" on the line Rymanów - Jasiel. The trail consists of 27 km and passes through areas of Beskid Niski.

There was also a time to have a tour in the mountains and to climbe to Jaworzyna Konieczniańska summit. The hiking route can be seen here. A peculiarity of the tour was to find commemorative stone tablet, which is set by a mysterious huntsman in 1901. The stone is located approximately 300 meters from the summit Jaworzyna and probably indicates a "position" of the first shot to deer.
